THE WORD BECAME FLESH G1096

The flesh of Jesus Christ is NOT from Mary

What does "Ginomai - G1096 mean" ?

This would be a legitimate question to ask for any visitor of this website, unfamiliar with Greek Strong's numbering systems. I would appreciate, if I could encourage any christian to start delving into a deeper bible study about not only this topic, but to get more familiar in general with word studies and Greek / Hebrew text analysis. It helps to get a deeper understanding of the bible. I find it sad that many so called "scholars" do not encourage this practice "at church". It might be owed to the fact that their own false statements can be uncovered, who knows, the claim often is made that it is dangerous if one starts studying the bible "by oneself".

The bible encourages and even demands ANY christian to turn to God himself to learn from him. That is what "repentance toward God" means - learn from God, not from man. A curse is on man trusting in man (Jeremiah 17:5). Man may help you, but in essence, learning will require the study of the Word of God, because "God is the Word" and there is good reason found in the bible to believe that "Word" is the very thing that "God is". So we turn to the Word of God for all things as a light that shines in a dark world full of false ideas and philosophy. Let me quote some bible passages that will further undermine what I stated:

"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."

(John 16:13)

"Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman  who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth."

(2. Timothy 2:15)

"But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him."

(1. John 2:27)

I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation.

(Psalms 119:99)

“I am young in years, and you are very old; therefore I was afraid, and dared not declare my opinion to you. I said, Age should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. But there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. Great men are not always wise, nor do the aged always understand justice."

(Job 32:6-9)

"I will fetch my knowledge from afar; I will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. For truly my words are not false; One who is perfect in knowledge is with you."
(Job 36:3-4)

"Behold, God is exalted by His power; who teaches like Him?"
(Job 36:22)

"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."
(Jeremiah 33:3)

I am sure there are a lot more verses that I could quote that would prove to you that God is ready and willing to teach ANYBODY from his Word immediately and by himself by letting the bible student put the pieces of the puzzle called bible together. It is a matter of explaining spiritual things spiritually, which means that one verse or passage explains another verse or passage. We are never doing a good thing when we merely peel apart one bible verse, analyze a single word and possibly even use extra biblical writings like those of the Greek philosophers in order to understand what a verse "means". The bible tells us that the whole volume of scripture is given by God and that none of it is by any private interpretation. The misguiding apologist Matt Slick got infuriated one day when he demanded me to explain to him "what a verse means" and I responded that it does not matter what "I think it means" but much more "what it says". If "what it says" does not explain "what it means" then there must be another verse or passage somewhere "saying something" that will "explain what the other passage means". Of course, satan's apologists love catching people in words and then playing their games asking questions, laying a snare and thus trying to discredit what the man of God has to say. Word trickery and delusion is in the toolbox of men like Matt Slick, James White, Michael Burgos, Edward Dalcour, Sam Shamoun, Daniel Segraves, David Wood, John MacArthur and a lot of other satanic agents that come in sheep's clothing in order to deceive people. It is these men that go around claiming that christians need their assistance to understand supposed biblical truth(s), which in essence are always pagan church dogmas that seek to guide men into gnosticism. Whether these men are doing this on purpose or are merely deluded / demon possessed is beyond my knowledge. They certainly do not teach things that they have learned from God, but doctrines and reasoning from men, by reading "scientific papers" or books. Then they pad one another on the back for their degrees and seek glorification and exaltation whilst refusing to work for their bread. Instead, they sell books and speak for hire. Since we do not want to become like them, we want to have a Spirit of inquiry towards God and his Word. We want to test things, test our own convictions and allow the bible to correct our view.  The berean style. They analyzed Paul, think about that.

Let us now take a look at the Word G1096 "ginomai" and determine why this is of paramount importance in the christological debate. The Word is used in John 1:14, where learn that "The Word became flesh". In verse 1, we learned that "God was the Word". For a deeper analysis of Words coming from the heart and how the Word of God comes from the Father's heart and exits his mouth, see this article:

Where did Jesus Christ come from ? (TEXT)

The church dogma of Chalcedon from 451 a.D. has sought to destroy this truth by coming up with a new terminology: "The Word took on flesh" or "The Word assumed flesh". The basic idea stems from Gnosticism and Greek philosophy where the Word "Logos" refers to the intellect, reasoning, and as such cannot materialize. In fact, Gnosticism draws a sharp distinction between immaterial and material. The "doctrine of the immutability of God" (there is an unbiblical, pseudo scientific term for most any lie as you find out when you study) is thrown in the mix, claiming God / Jesus Christ cannot change. Since the bible does say this pertaining to the character aspect of God (Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8), it does certainly not make such a claim pertaining to the manifestations of God. The Holy Spirit came down in the shape (G1491 "eido") of a dove in Luke 3:22. God himself "became visible" (G5319 "phaneroo") in flesh as per 1. Timothy 3:16. Jesus Christ himself was in the outer appearance (G3444 "morphe") of God as we learn in Philippians 2:6. He "became dead" (see Revelation 1:18 and how it also uses G1096 "ginomai") and post resurrection "became visible in another form (G3444 "morphe") in Mark 16:12". Clearly, God can change his appearance anytime he wants.

Let us spend a short moment analyzing 1. Timothy 3:16 and comparing it to Mark 16:12 and Matthew 17:2. After all, we want to show that the Word of God in fact DID materialize "as flesh" from the moment of conception on. This means that all of Jesus Christ had its origin in heaven and all that which came down from heaven has become flesh in the womb - but not of Mary. We will also see that "ginomai", when it connects 2 nouns immediately without preposition (this is very important !) NEVER means "taking on" something that was already there - pre-fashioned - as the horde of misleading apologists want to make us believe. Jesus Christ did not "take on flesh" but he "became flesh" because "God became visible in flesh". Please click on the following 3 links in order to open new tabs with 1. Timothy 3:16, Matthew 17:2 and Mark 16:12 interlinear.

Mark how G5319 "phaneroo" in 1. Timothy 3:16 is immediately followed by G1722 "en", meaning  that God "became visible in" flesh. The constellation of G5139 with G1722 only appears twice in the New Testament in this tense, never in the Septuagint (feel free to check this, using the Blue Letter Bible Link and video explanation for usage here:  Links to study material). The only instance apart from 1. Timothy 3:16 is in Mark 16:12. Jesus "became visible in" another form (G3444 "morphe" - outer appearance). This proves that 1. Timothy 3:16 confirms John 1:14 to literally say that the Word of God became flesh, whether diabolic apologists like it or not. It is further evident from Matthew 17:2 that Jesus changed his outer appearance on the mount of transfiguration. Many false teachers claim that "the divine essence was shining through Jesus' body" on the mount. This is not true according to the bible. The bible tells us that his body actually morphed, by using the term "metamorphothe" G3339. The appearance (G1491 "eidos") of his face "was altered" (G2087 "heteron") and his garments "became white" (G1096 "ginomai"). Jesus Christ himself morphed into a glorious appearance because his glorious body changed. The constant degradation of the flesh of Jesus Christ (the body that he sacrificed) by satanic agents is mind boggling. Edward Dalcour was caught admitting that he believes in a divided messiah, where only the God-nature is worthy of worship. He said at Knox Presbyterian Church on March 1st 2019 at the "Behold our triune God conference":

"When we worship God,...we don't worship his flesh." (Edward Dalcour)

Contrary to Edward Dalcour, all of heaven is worshiping the Lamb, the flesh and blood temple of God himself, which is divine and not earthly from the dust.

"Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb."

(Revelation 5:8a)

Take some time and read the whole account of Revelation 5 (and also compare this to John 2:19-21 and Revelation 21:22 to learn that God in fact IS THE LAMB - the temple) and see that the Lamb is actually worshipped BECAUSE of his flesh and blood. Dalcour is not in those ranks, he worships "intellect" - the Greek Logos of the philosophers. One wonders why he has such little reasoning that he would claim these fallacies. He may be aware of them, deceiving the people with his false claims about Jesus Christ, the holy Son of God and Lord of Heaven.

Back to the Word "ginomai" G1096. It is found in many places in the New Testament and we are specifically interested in those instances where it connects 2 nouns without preposition, respectively where an attribute is connected to a noun. Dear reader, I want to ask you now: Did the Word become flesh, or did it "take on flesh" that existed before and was created before? If you say the latter, please write in the comment section where the scriptures authorize such a claim.
